LADYBUG NATURE WALK

Ladybug NatureWalks by Portland Parks & Recreation Discover Nature in Portland's Parks! WHEN: Fri., Nov 6 Hoyt Arboretum* Walk through parks, gardens and natural areas with your youngster and a nature guide. Touch slimy slugs, smell tree bark, feel crinkly and soft leaves, hear musical bird songs and experience the many changes of the seasons. Walks occur regardless of weather conditions. No registration is necessary . .. just meet at the designated locations (see over). All walks begin at 10 am rain or shine, $3 per preschooler, no charge for adults. Preschools and other organized groups should call 503-823-3601 to arrange their own special walk.

Flutter Run & Family Potluck Time: Sat, Sep 26 at 04:00 PM Location: Irvington Elementary School 1320 NE Brazee St. What: The 5th Annual Flutter Run and Family PotluckWhen: Saturday, September 26th from 4:00 to 7:00pm Where: Irvington Elembetary School 1320 NE Brazee St. We will set-up under the covered blacktop area. Why: The Flutter Run is our first fundraising event of the year! Students will run for short period of time (minutes) around a designated course. Parent volunteers will keep track of each student's lap total. Families will calculate how much each sponsor owes, collect the money raised, and turn in their totals to ...
