Today we had a field trip to Albina Library. Nina, the children’s librarian, talked with us about her job and the tools she uses. She mentioned paper and pencils, computers, books, tapes, card catalog and data base!  Then we shared some song and heard some stories before heading outside for a snack in the sun and our walk back to school!  What a beautiful walk it was as we watched for flowers of different colors and any unusual sights.  We arrived just in time for the ice cream social and what seemed like hundreds of balloons. Thank you Mike and Shawn for putting the social together and thank you Chika and Anne for your help on the field trip!
