Today we had a field trip to Whole Foods. We saw the produce where they let us sample Cameo Apples and test the scales, then the deli where the wood oven for the pizza is. We got to look at the bakery case with all of the goodies, smell the soaps in the toiletry area, and taste the cheese in the cheese area. We also smelt some different cheeses that were, well, stinky! From there we checked out the bulk food area and talked about why you might choose to buy in bulk. There we were given our choice of sucker from the “bulk sucker barrel.” The lat thing we did there was to collect a kids club card which gives us treats when we visit Whole Foods!Whole Foods excursion
